OUTREACH MINISTRIES
In 2011, Doug was a part of a
three-man team that went to public schools in Chia-yi, Taiwan.
They had the opportunity to talk to
and share with 5,000 English speaking Taiwanese students, of which
approximately only 2%
are believers in Jesus Christ.
Doug and the team shared the gospel through music, personal testimony
and by using a multi-colored
colored bracelet
that represents the story of the gospel.
The bracelet is adapted from the
evangelism tool,
"The Wordless Book".
Students received a bracelet of their
own to help them remember the truth
about Jesus.
The colors of the rubber bracelets are:
BLACK
representing sin, Romans 3:23;
RED
representing the blood of Jesus,
John 3:16;
WHITE
representing forgiveness,
1John 1:9;
GREEN
representing growing in faith,
2 Peter 3:18;
GOLD
representing the streets in heaven,
Rev. 21:21.
